The atmospheric, one-Michelin-star restaurant guarantees a successful evening for both private and business occasions.
On cold days you can enjoy the fire place and our cosy, informal atmosphere.
In summer you can enjoy your dinner on our terrace, situated in the shadow of age-old beech trees.
From childhood, Chef patron Jaap Istha could be found in his grandmother’s kitchen and at young age his uncle taught him pastry baking. His cooking style is modern/classic and his team mainly works with regional products. In early autumn he loves to search wild mushrooms which he uses in various, creative dishes.
Specialties of the house are amongst others: Baked Coquilles Saint Jacques with braised leek and two sauces. Sallands dear with mushrooms and Hardenbergse mushroom soup.
The menu consists of à la carte dishes composed of regional and seasonal products. You can also order a surprise menu and leave the choice to the chef. We have an extensive wine list and of course you can choose a matching wine arrangement.
